Responsibilities
ā¢ Care for and manage the surgical patient in the post-anesthesia period.

ā¢ Apply the nursing process, critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, technical skills, and leadership to deliver safe nursing care.

ā¢ Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes.

ā¢ Provide communication, confidence, and professionalism in unit and organizational activities.

ā¢ Demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

ā¢ Accountability for delivering quality nursing care services and promoting a positive image of nursing.
Requirements
ā¢ Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN is preferred.

ā¢ 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in a Recovery Room/PACU setting is required.

ā¢ Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.

ā¢ Current BLS Certification is required.
