Key Responsibilities:
Ā Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Ā Collect and record data on student behavior and progress.
Ā Provide direct one-on-one or small group interventions to students with behavioral needs.
Ā Assist in the development of social skills and appropriate behavior in students.
Ā Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavior management.
Ā Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Ā Support classroom activities as needed, helping to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
Ā Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
Ā High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
Ā Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
Ā Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ā Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from a BCBA.
Ā Must meet all local and state requirements for RBTs in Colorado, including background checks and relevant certifications.
