This full-time role as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills in a K-12 school setting. Based in Elk Grove, CA, this contract position involves working in-person across various district-wide locations. The job is scheduled for 40 hours per week with a start date as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: • Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision to support students with behavioral challenges. • Collect and record data on student progress accurately and consistently. • Collaborate with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and educational staff to tailor interventions. • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students. • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to ensure best practices are followed. Qualifications and Experience: • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. • Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings preferred. • Ability to work 40 hours per week in-person across multiple district sites. • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data collection methods. Location: • Elk Grove, California district-wide assignments requiring on-site presence. This contract assignment runs concurrent with the school year calendar and offers a valuable experience within a supportive educational environment focused on student success.
