Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our benefits sales leadership team as a Regional Vice President!About the roleAs the Regional Vice President, you will be responsible for both the regional success of your sales team and for managing broker partnerships. You will maximize the sales production from those relationships, establishing marketing plans that result in profitable new and renewal business. You’ll gain market share in an increasingly competitive environment. As the leader in this role, you understand that relationships are critical to our success – both internal and external – and you build and nurture relationships with your team, internal partners, third party administrators, consultants and brokers. Check out our Symetra Benefits OverviewCompensationBase salary: $150,000 plus eligibility for incentive compensationWho you areBachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experienceLife and Health Insurance License10+ years of regional production sales and sales leadership, specifically in Group Ancillary Life, Disability, Absence and Supplemental Health product linesDemonstrated ability to achieve sales goalsStrong abilities in planning, organization, decision making and team managementExperience in successful development and implementation of marketing plansExcellent relationship management skillsThorough understanding of risk management principles and general underwriting concepts for all segment sizesTravel required at 40-50%Work AuthorizationEmployer work visa sponsorship and support are not provided for this role.
