They are seeking a Regional Underwriter to manage risk selection in an underwriting territory, analyzing information to select, decline, or provide alternatives for risks. Responsibilities Performs agency management responsibilities that involve analyzing, monitoring and evaluating assigned agencies in a territory to identify potential concerns or trends within their book of business Works closely with Business Development Reps and/or Supervisor and assigned agencies, and acts as a liaison to influence the overall profitability, quality and composition of each agency’s book Skills Associate's degree or Technical or specialized knowledge or equivalent, related experience 1 - 3 years' experience One-year prior experience in the insurance industry or customer service Preferably actively enrolled in a degree or CPCU Program Company Overview MAPFRE a global insurance company.It was founded in 1935, and is headquartered in Madrid, Madrid, ESP, with a workforce of 10001+ employees.
