Based on estimates for Highland customer with large fleet Summary: The Regional Service Manager provides project management and maintenance support for Highland’s asset management objectives. This role is responsible for providing direct oversight of maintenance activities requiring expertise in administering internal and external maintenance schemes for electric vehicles and chargers. Further, this position will assist in global initiatives including project management, equipment allocation, standard operating procedure development, best practice implementation, equipment specifications standardization, and auditing. With Highland facing significant growth, the position must be willing to adapt to different geographical areas (including different time zones) requiring management of staff and vendors, while supporting the proliferation of long-term maintenance strategy. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Highland’s regional bus and charger support plans for all Highland’s project portfolio, owning direct maintenance budget responsibilities over a multitude of designated deployments Direct and control the company’s fleet and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with contract standards, service level agreements, OEM manuals and all local, state, and federal requirements Utilize understanding of dealer service operations to effectively manage service relationships and service level agreements set forth by Highland Work closely with customers’ maintenance teams and dealers to ensure maintenance standards, suggested inventory levels, and effective warranty management are upheld Accountable for asset availability and make appropriate repair decisions to maximize asset uptime and minimize total cost of ownership Apply maintenance KPI metric reporting such as PM compliance, Labor Utilization, and CPMs to drive overall uptime and reduce operational cost Supervise Highland’s Maintenance and Technician teams to achieve company’s reliability, PL, and inventory variance objectives Assist in development and implementation of maintenance quality initiatives and influence operating procedures Develop and implement Highland’s quality inspection and audit programs to ensure compliance with policies and procedures Assist with development of performance goals for maintenance personnel and creating and implementing action plans to achieve those goals Ensure staff is properly equipped and trained regarding tooling and PPE to perform necessary repairs Leverage PL understanding to assist with maintenance forecasting and budgeting, and development of maintenance underwriting models Qualifications: College degree or 7+ years of relevant Fleet experience 5 years maintenance management experience, preferably in a multi-site environment 5 years of fleet Supervisor experience in a Diesel Shop with Medium to Heavy duty fleets ASE Master Certification preferred Basic understanding of electric vehicle maintenance requirements Experience managing vendors and service level agreements Electric vehicle or charger repair experience preferred Experience with local applicable DOT compliance of Medium to Heavy duty fleet Must be computer proficient and have experience with computerized diagnostics Experience with maintenance budgeting and modeling Experience with Microsoft office products, Telematics, and Enterprise Asset Management software What You Can Expect from Highland: ·Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus program · A supportive, highly collaborative, team-oriented environment · Opportunities to make a difference, be heard, add value, and be recognized · Growth and development with a leader in this new and exciting industry · Ability to work with bright, innovative, and forward-thinking colleagues · Health, Vision, and Dental coverage for employees their dependents · Life insurance, public transportation assistance · Generous Paid Time Off · 401(k) program and company match Highland Electric Fleets provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetics.
