We are seeking a Regional Organizer to support and help build a field program to stop the build-out of the petrochemical industry and support grassroots advocates fighting petrochemicals. The ideal candidate will be a community organizer and advocate who excels in bringing people together around a common cause.RequirementsOne to three years of professional experience organizing in community advocacy, campaigns, or non-profit program work.Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-cultural awareness and the ability to work collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.Demonstrated ability to move people to action and build a mutual sense of trust.BenefitsSalary of $65,000 - 70,000, commensurate with experience.Alternate Fridays off work schedule (employees work 40 hours one week, 32 hours the next week).Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan with a 5% match, mileage for work related travel and generous paid time off.Technology allowance, student loan repayment assistance, the Calm app, mental health benefits and approximately 17 paid holidays per year.Originally posted on Himalayas
