Job Description The Regional Director of Leisure Luxury Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that drive revenue growth from the luxury leisure segment across a designated portfolio of hotels and resorts. This individual will lead efforts to strengthen relationships with key luxury travel advisors, consortia, and high-end agencies, representing their portfolio as a top-tier luxury offering. This position ensures alignment of hotel sales strategies with brand positioning and overall revenue goals. This role is remotely based. Responsibilities Develop and implement a strategic luxury leisure sales plan for assigned hotels that align with overall company goals and market demand. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, tour operators, consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature, Ensemble) and other high-net-worth travel influencers. Collaborate with property teams to ensure optimal execution of sales plans, client engagement, and account management in the luxury leisure space. Conduct regular domestic sales calls, roadshows, and attend key luxury travel trade shows Monitor and analyze sales performance and trends, providing actionable insights and reporting to leadership. Champion brand standards and ensure consistent luxury positioning across all channels and client touchpoints. Partner with marketing, revenue management, and operations to create compelling promotions and packages tailored to luxury travelers. Conduct regular client training and presentations to increase awareness and preference for the brand and its luxury offerings. Maintain knowledge of competitors, emerging trends in luxury travel, and client needs to inform strategy. Update all Consortia portals with content, offers and images with the assistance of each hotel’s/resort’s marketing teams. Maintain effective communication channel with Revenue Team, Reservations Manager, Reservations Team, and Select Guest Team. Connect with each property’s operations team on service activations and guest recognition related to program inclusions. Provide training to ensure teams meet program requirements. Partner with Loyalty Ambassadors on pre-arrival opportunities for greater personalization during the stay. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality. Deep understanding of the luxury leisure market, including client expectations, travel consortia, and booking channels. Existing relationships with top-tier travel advisors and luxury consortia preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel frequently (up to 40%). Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Experienced working in a remote setting. Preferred Experience Experience representing multiple luxury or lifestyle properties. Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Delphi, Salesforce, or Opera Cloud.
