Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Recreation Leader 2 to join our team at the City of SeaTac's Parks, Community Programs & Services Department. As a Recreation Leader 2, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our Youth Program, working under the direction of a Recreation Supervisor or Recreation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead activities for youth students ages 5-12, including crafts, games, tutoring, cooking, outside activities, sports, and athletics
Ensure activities are safe, proper, and appropriate, and maintain program equipment and facilities
Supervise staff as assigned and participate in teen programs, planning, and coordinating groups in arts & crafts, sports, and special events
Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and community members

Requirements:
18 years of age
Six months of related work experience in community recreation and/or education programs
Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
Valid Washington State Driver's license (if required to drive)
Proof of full vaccination in accordance with the governor's requirements
