Recovery Program Coordinator, CSR

About the position Responsibilities • Serve as the primary contact for the CSR student community and involvement groups. • Plan, coordinate, and implement CSR meetings and programming for various audiences including students, faculty, staff, and off-campus partners. • Collaborate with the Communications and Events coordinator for events and CSR-related promotions. • Facilitate community-building strategies among students in the CSR community. • Assist in developing an inclusive recovery culture with an emphasis on building recovery capital. • Maintain appropriate boundaries while providing support to students and the CSR community. • Provide one-on-one meetings and information to students. • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to build the CSR student community. • Maintain a list of informed referrals for UT students in or seeking recovery. • Present in classrooms and student organizations about CSR and addiction recovery. • Participate as an active member of campus committees and collaborative student health departments. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in education, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field. • Experience with addiction recovery and knowledge of multiple pathways to recovery and peer support services. • Experience working with college students or young adults. • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Ability to be flexible while remaining highly organized. • Ability to plan in advance and implement those plans effectively. Nice-to-haves • At least two years of collegiate recovery experience. • At least one year of experience in a higher education setting. • Experience providing programming to young adults or populations with substance use disorder. • Experience working within large institutions. • Experience working with diverse populations.
