The role involves providing exceptional customer service as the first point of contact and performing various administrative and office support tasks in the Anchorage office.ResponsibilitiesAnswers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel or department. Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailableWelcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate staff members, direct them to sign-in and assign visitor badgeProvides general information in response to inquiries about Ahtna, its mission, activities or personnelOrganizes and maintains reception area, to present a neat and efficient appearance. Assures that Ahtna marketing materials and other informational literature is current and available for visitors and membersSorts, logs and distributes incoming/outgoing mailDelivery of time sensitive packages to shipping sources (Fed-Ex, Alaska Air Cargo, Raven, etc. when necessary)Assists shareholders to complete documents as needed, logging received shareholder information and forwarding to Shareholder Services Manager and AssistantMaintaining security for office.
