Overview We are seeking a relationship-driven, people-first Real Estate Media Specialist to help us strengthen and grow our presence in the Chico, California region (including a 1-hour radius: Paradise, Oroville, Durham, Orland, Red Bluff, etc.). This is not a pressure-based sales job. Realtors do not want to be sold to — they want someone they trust, someone who listens, and someone who genuinely understands their world. Your job is simple: Get to know agents, build rapport, provide real value, understand their business, and introduce HPM as the go-to media partner. This is our first dedicated outreach role in California, and we are looking for someone who embodies our values: • Integrity • Honesty • Excellent customer service • Strong real estate awareness • Understanding of media + marketing • A true people person • Relationship-driven mindset • Warm personality + authentic communication] Local Preferred (But Remote Considered) This position is best for someone located in or near Chico so you can: • Visit offices • Meet agents in person • Attend events • Build genuine community relationships However, we will consider remote applicants if they are willing to study Chico extensively — neighborhoods, agent culture, listing styles, pricing, market trends — and speak about it confidently. Daily Responsibilities This role is highly relationship-based with a calling and outreach component. Your day may include Relationship Building • Calling agents daily to check in, introduce yourself, and build familiarity • Following up with warm and cold leads in a natural, friendly, conversational way • Getting to know agents personally — goals, challenges, client base, brand • Building trust by understanding their pain points and providing solutions • Sending helpful resources, examples, or media ideas tailored to their style • Developing strong, long-term partnerships that turn into consistent bookings Client Support & Presentations • Running short Zoom/Google Meet introduction calls • Walking agents through our packages and helping them choose what fits • Assisting with onboarding, scheduling, and shoot preparation • Checking in with existing clients to support them and deepen the relationship • Suggesting upgrades (video, drone, 3D tours, branding content, etc.) when appropriate Outreach & Communication • Making consistent outbound calls each day to agents in the Chico region • Sending text and email follow-ups • Leveraging social media engagement • Staying plugged into the local real estate community • Sharing what’s new: reels, samples, promotions, seasonal content ideas Professional Growth • Learning the Chico/Paradise/Oroville markets deeply • Understanding common listing types and agent expectations • Studying media best practices and how quality content drives business Compensation • $16/hr base pay • 50% commission on all new bookings and upsells • Example: $1,000 new client booking = $500 commission • After 1–2 months, it is realistic to close 1–3 sales per day through natural relationship-building You are paid hourly whether or not you close that day. The value is in the relationship-building — and the sales naturally follow.
