Job Description • Draft, review, and negotiate real estate and development contracts and agreements. • Provide legal advice on real estate matters, including leasing, acquisitions, and land use. • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations within the Energy & Natural Resources industry. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project development and legal strategy. • Manage relationships with external legal counsel and other third-party stakeholders. • Assist in resolving disputes and handling litigation related to real estate and development matters. • Stay updated on legal trends and changes affecting the Energy & Natural Resources sector. • Support the legal team with other duties as required. The Successful Applicant A successful Real Estate and Development Counsel should have: • Strong knowledge of real estate law and development processes in the Energy & Natural Resources industry. • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents. • Experience providing legal advice on compliance with relevant laws and regulations. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Juris Doctor degree and active bar membership in good standing. • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail to address legal challenges effectively.
