React Front-End Engineer

Established in 2013, we specialise in cloud migration and development, digital transformation including agile software development, DevOps, automation, data and machine learningâŚWe are looking for a React Front-End Engineer to design and build modern, scalable web applications used in operational and customer-facing environments. Youâll work closely with back-end engineers, product owners, and UX designers to deliver fast, intuitive, and reliable user experiences.
Experience in aviation, travel, or other real-time or safety-critical domains is highly valued, given the complexity and reliability requirements of the systems.
Required Experience:
Strong commercial experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Solid understanding of component-based architecture and front-end design patterns
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, etc.)
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design
Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
Familiarity with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines
Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team
Key responsibilities & duties include:
Build and maintain modern web applications using React
Develop reusable, high-quality UI components and front-end architecture
Translate UX/UI designs into responsive, accessible user interfaces
Integrate front-end applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and UX
Ensure high standards for performance, security, and accessibility
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end best practices
Support production releases and continuous improvement of live application
Nice to have:
Experience in aviation, travel, transport, or regulated industries
Experience with Next.js or other React frameworks
Knowledge of performance optimisation and web security best practices
Exposure to real-time data, dashboards, or operational systems
Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
