Position Summary The RCM Project Specialist is a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team responsible for overseeing and executing special projects related to RCM clean-up, legacy account audits, system migrations, and complex claims resolution. This individual will play a hands-on role in office transitions—such as TIN changes, system migrations, or acquisition integrations—by identifying claims or balances that require corrective action and following through to completion. In addition to project work, the RCM Project Specialist will assist with ticket resolution and general billing responsibilities, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all processes. This role requires a strong background in dental billing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities:
Execute assigned RCM projects including but not limited to: TIN change claim corrections, mass insurance plan reattachments, ledger clean-up audits, and balance reconciliation.Identify and track accounts impacted by migration errors or structural changes in the PMS or payor setup.Submit corrected claims with proper documentation and follow up to ensure payment is received.Partner with the Implementation and Payer Relations teams during migrations to provide RCM-related cleanup support.Respond to ticket inquiries and assist with escalated billing issues as needed.Monitor and resolve insurance and patient A/R, including denials and delayed payments.Navigate payer portals to download EOBs and post insurance payments accurately.Review and document insurance correspondence and submit required attachments and narratives.Assist in updating SOPs as projects uncover process improvement opportunities.Collaborate cross-functionally to improve system workflows and clean-up strategies.Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:
3+ years of dental billing or revenue cycle experience; experience with special projects or office transitions preferred.Strong understanding of dental/ortho billing, CDT codes, and claims submission requirements.Experience with Denticon and/or Cloud 9 preferredDemonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).BenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k with Company Match, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Training and Development opportunitiesRemote flexibilitySALT Dental Partners offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off in order to attract, develop, and retain our employees.
