What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you'll be at the heart of our airport operations. Your daily tasks will be physically active and engaging, requiring you to move throughout the tarmac and terminal areas. Here's what you can expect:


Baggage and Cargo Handling: Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and freight to and from aircraft. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all items are handled with care and arrive at their correct destinations.
Aircraft Positioning: Assist with the safe and efficient positioning of aircraft by guiding incoming and outgoing planes to and from gate positions. This includes marshaling aircraft and ensuring proper connections.
Cargo Protection: Safeguard all freight, items, and mail from damage, loss, and adverse weather conditions. You'll use specialized equipment to protect cargo during all phases of handling.
Ground Equipment Operation: Safely drive and operate ground support equipment including tuggers, belt loaders, and tow vehicles in congested areas. Training will be provided for all equipment operation.
Inventory Management: Work with baggage scanning systems and computer programs to ensure accurate tracking and routing of luggage to its intended destination.
Safety Compliance: Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Weather Adaptation: Perform duties in various weather conditions including heat, rain, snow, and cold temperatures. Our operations run around the clock, so be prepared for diverse environmental challenges.


Physical Requirements: This position is physically demanding. You must be comfortable with bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. You will be required to lift and move bags weighing between 50-70 pounds repeatedly throughout your shift.

Work Schedule and Availability

At arenaflex, we understand that work-life balance is important. Our scheduling is based on operational needs, and shifts vary depending on the flight schedule at each station. You can expect:


Shifts ranging from early morning to evening/overnight
Flexible scheduling based on operational demands
Part-time and full-time opportunities (20-40 hours per week depending on position)
Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for extra income


What We're Looking For: Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Requirements


Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (both written and verbal communication)
Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license
Availability: Must be flexible to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Background Check: Must pass criminal background screening and drug testing


Preferred Qualifications


Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail environments
Familiarity with airport operations or logistics
Experience operating heavy equipment or machinery
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
