Raiser's Edge Data Processing and Management Consultant - Remote
Activist Consulting provides fundraising data consulting and staffing to nonprofit organizations.
We deliver long-term and interim database management, gift processing, and project-based data consulting — primarily for clients using Raiser’s Edge NXT and Salesforce.
We are seeking to add a consultant to support approximately 15–20 hours per week of ongoing client work, with potential for growth as client needs evolve.
Because our client assignments shift and expand over time, we are always interested in connecting with experienced fundraising data professionals whose availability and expertise align with our model. Strong applicants are often considered for future or evolving engagements.

Work is remote and flexible but must meet processing turnaround commitments and include availability during normal business hours for client communication and regular and/or occasional meetings.
Current Needs
We are staffing ongoing client work in:
• Dedicated Gift Processing
• Database Management Augmentation
Gift Processing Responsibilities May Include:
• Entering and batching gifts (checks, online gifts, pledges, soft credits)
• Updating donor records
• Maintaining and generating acknowledgment letters
• Coordinating with client finance staff
Data Management Responsibilities May Include:
• Lists, queries, exports, and reporting
• Data cleanup and restructuring
• Imports and complex updates
• Process documentation
• Staff training and database support
All roles require clear and proactive communication with clients and the Activist team, strong project and time management skills, and flexibility to meet client needs as they arise.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years Raiser’s Edge experience (RENXT required)
• Strong independent work habits and communication skills
• Ability to manage workload and deadlines without close supervision
• Experience working directly with development staff
Compensation (1099 Contractor)
• $35/hr — Gift Processing
• $45–$55/hr — Database Management
• $100/hr — Project-Based Consulting
This is a remote, independent contractor position. Rates are dependent on experience, role scope, client budget, and level of independence within the assignment.
