Job description
ConnectHealth is seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist for remote overnight Emergency Department coverage at DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Michigan. This is a tele-radiology assignment with consistent overnight volume, resident support, and the opportunity for locums-to-perm consideration. Providers must be able to cover 2-3 weeks per month.
Job Responsibilities
⢠Provide remote diagnostic radiology coverage for the Emergency Department
⢠Interpret high-volume ED imaging (approx. 80ā120 cases per 8-hour shift)
⢠Support and teach radiology residents during overnight coverage
⢠Handle ED admissions and phone consults as needed
⢠Maintain accurate and timely reporting using Cerner EMR
Qualifications
⢠MD or DO
⢠Board-Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
⢠Active Michigan medical license (required)
⢠Clean malpractice history
⢠NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days
⢠Case logs required
⢠DEA not required (DEA waiver required)
Working Hours
⢠Overnight ED coverage: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (EST)
⢠Minimum 7 shifts per month
⢠Flexible scheduling: 2-3 weeks per month
⢠Ongoing coverage need, ASAP start
Skills
⢠Strong Emergency Radiology interpretation skills
⢠Comfortable with high-volume overnight ED workflow
⢠Excellent communication and decision-making under time pressure
⢠Ability to collaborate with residents and clinical teams remotely
⢠Experience with Cerner preferred
