Radiology Expert (AI Trainer)
About the role We’re partnering with one of the world’s leading AI companies on projects that apply medical expertise to improve the accuracy, reasoning, and safety of large language models. As a Radiology Expert, you’ll bring your clinical and diagnostic expertise to help train and evaluate AI systems that respond to complex medical questions. This is a remote, flexible, project-based opportunity, ideal for board-certified radiologists who want to supplement their clinical work while shaping the future of healthcare technology. What you’ll do • Create and answer advanced, graduate-level medical and imaging-related questions. • Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, safety, and clinical soundness. • Provide structured feedback to improve AI reasoning and “chains of thought,” particularly in radiology contexts. • Assess AI outputs across modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound) and clinical scenarios. • Collaborate asynchronously with a global network of medical experts. You are a good fit if you • Hold an MD (or equivalent) and are trained in Radiology. • Are board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology with hands-on clinical experience. • Demonstrate deep expertise in diagnostic imaging and clinical reasoning. • Have strong English proficiency (reading and writing) with minimal errors. • Are analytical, detail-oriented, and reliable in meeting deadlines. • Are curious about AI and its applications in medicine. • Can commit at least 2–5 hours per week (up to 40 hours, depending on availability). • Do not already have an account on Outlier.ai. Compensation & benefits • $45-$85 USD per hour.
