Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and manage the Radiologic Technology program curriculum, ensuring that it is up-to-date and aligned with industry standards and requirements. Oversee the delivery of program courses, including lecture and lab instruction, and ensure that students receive a comprehensive education. Assess student learning outcomes and provide developmental feedback to ensure that students meet program competencies. Collaborate with program coordinators, faculty, and industry partners to ensure that the program meets community and employer needs. Develop and manage externship programs, providing students with hands-on experience in radiologic technology. Prepare for and facilitate annual faculty convocation to ensure that programs are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards. Essential Functions Program Director Responsibilities Review program curriculum to ensure materials are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards. Review courses within the program, including textbooks, equipment, and materials. Create and modify course control documents as necessary. Work with program coordinators to ensure consistency of delivery across campuses. Meet with local advisory boards to ensure that programs meet community and employer needs. Develop and monitor externship programs, providing students with hands-on experience in radiologic technology. Faculty Responsibilities Prepare course plans and materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and exams. Deliver courses, including lecture and lab instruction. Administer pre-tests and post-tests, and provide progress reports and mid-term feedback. Maintain grade books and adhere to departmental grading policies. Provide students with one-on-one assistance and tutoring. Education, Training, and Experience Requirements Master's degree in a related field. 4 years of experience in radiologic technology, with 2 years of teaching experience in an accredited JRCERT school. ARRT certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience in academic administration, curriculum development, and business planning.
