Job Summary As a Radiologic Technology Instructor , you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in our radiologic technology program. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing course plans and materials, delivering courses, monitoring student progress, and advising students. You will work closely with our faculty and staff to ensure that our students receive a comprehensive education and are well-prepared for their careers. Key Responsibilities Prepare course plans and materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, exams, quizzes, and projects/assignments Deliver courses, including administering pre-tests and post-tests, delivering lectures, facilitating labs, and grading projects and exams Monitor student progress and attendance, and provide feedback and support as needed Advise students, including answering questions, providing one-on-one assistance, and recording grades Maintain accurate records, including grade books, attendance records, and reports Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and knowledge-sharing forums Stay current with industry developments and advancements in radiologic technology Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field Four years of experience in radiologic technology ARRT certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in a related field Experience in an academic environment, particularly in a career college setting Experience with curriculum development and course delivery Familiarity with online learning platforms and technologies Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and medical imaging principles Ability to stay current with industry developments and advancements Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Southeastern College, we are committed to the growth and development of our faculty members.
