Employment Status: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Facility: 2331 Franklin Rd - Roanoke Requisition Number: R156199 Rad Tech Assistant (Open) How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare: The Radiology Technologist Assistant transports and/or escorts patients to and from diagnostic testing areas. They assist technologists with prepping patients. Greets visitors/patients and facilitates meeting their needs and facility needs. Transports patients via appropriate mode of transportation to and from Imaging Services. Assists patients to ensure safe transfer between wheelchairs/stretchers and imaging equipment. Facilitates patient flow. Assists with prepping of patients. Notifies technologist/radiologist/physician of stat orders and changes. Maintains cleanliness and neatness of equipment, patient areas and work areas. Orders and stocks all necessary supplies and linens. Complies with infection control, radiation safety, OSHA standards, and practices safe operation of all assigned equipment. What We Require: Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Experience: none Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. Other Minimum Qualifications: Good interpersonal, communication and employee development skills.
