What You'll Do
As our Applications Manager, you'll deliver exceptional customer service by supporting our internal teams in quoting and finance. Your role will involve resolving issues promptly and implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence. You'll also ensure our core applications are always up and running, lead in designing innovative solutions, manage application life cycles, and maintain strong relationships with key software suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide top-notch support to our teams using global costing applications.
Collaborate closely with regional and global partners in quoting, finance, and manufacturing to understand high-level requirements and translate them into clear business demands.
Lead efforts in prioritization and mapping demands into functional roadmaps.
Develop and optimize queries and scripts for quoting applications.
Ensure code compliance, efficiency, and adequate documentation.
Contribute to test planning and execution to uphold business requirements and functionality standards.
Maintain a robust user knowledge base through training materials and best practices documentation.
What You'll Need
A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or Business is required; Master's level coursework is preferred.
Minimum 5 Years Of Related Experience.
Intermediate understanding of SQL and either VB Script or VBA.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
Strong analytical skills, particularly in algebra and financial analysis.
Experience in analyzing and maintaining product costs in a manufacturing environment and software application management.
Physical Requirements
This role is based in a professional office environment with comfortable conditions conducive to focused work.
Minimal physical activity; primarily desk-based work involving computer use.
