Quickbooks Online Expert - Part-Time
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper and are looking for some part-time work with a flexible schedule? We're looking for someone extremely organized, proficient with Quick Books Online, and Excel, and knowledgeable on best practices for accounting to assist a growing Real Estate company.
Responsibilities
Ā Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses.
Ā Review accounts payable and receivable every day to ensure invoices and expense reports are accurate.
Ā Assist the real estate team or other staff accountants with additional accounting duties as needed.
Ā Enter financial data into computer software, ensuring all bills and invoices are filed correctly.
Ā Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records match up and no transaction gets lost.
Ā Stay on top of any needed collections and ensure our bills are paid on time.
Ā Prepare for quarterly reporting using standard best practices and assist in monthly closings.
Qualifications
Ā Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quick Books or similar accounting software.
Ā Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred.
Ā Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Ā Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Ā Must have high school diploma or GED; college degree helpful but not required.
Ā Experience in the real estate industry preferred.
Compensation
$20 - $25 hourly depending on experience.
