Quantum Health seeks a versatile Copywriter to execute an array of marketing communications that are on strategy, on brand and on time. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented and takes pride in writing copy that speaks in plain language to the audience pain point and marketing objective so that it is clear and concise. You’re experienced collaborating with design colleagues to deliver quality work based on a well-developed brief, but you’re not paralyzed by the lack of one. You’re comfortable working with internal SMEs to ask insightful questions about audience, competition and product/service value prop and differentiators. You thrive in a fast-paced internal agency environment where assignments span ad campaigns, sales collateral, video scripting, direct mail, customer/member email and sales presentations.
What you'll do
• Write, edit, revise and finalize copy for a variety of marketing and corporate communications assignments, including digital and print advertising, sales collateral, direct mail, promotional materials (e.g., flyers, postcards) email marketing, video scripts, social media, articles.
• Collaborate effectively with designer, digital designer, art director and content/copywriting colleagues to generate clear, effective marketing communications that help our members better understand how we can assist with their healthcare benefits needs.
• Review briefs and background materials in preparation for development communications projects. Strategically prepare for and proactively participate in internal stakeholder and SME meetings, discussions and interviews.
• Provide proofreading, creative review, quality control and constructive feedback/revisions on materials you create as well as communications developed by colleagues.
• Contribute constructively to a variety of corporate, Marketing and Content team initiatives as assigned, including department meetings, skill development initiatives, special communications projects, quality control and internal process improvement efforts.
What you'll bring
• Degree in Writing, English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications preferred
• Would prefer someone with 3-5 years of experience working as a full-time copywriter or editor in a corporate, agency or freelance capacity
• B2B experience is preferred but not a mandatory
• Experience writing and/or editing for a variety of marketing and corporate communications formats
• Competence in the copywriting process ¾ backgrounding/briefing, writing, editing, revising, ideating.
• A collaborative spirt with experience working with design/art direction/digital colleagues in a creative team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, working with multiple stakeholders, projects and priorities
• Excellent oral/written presentation skills; proficieny in preparation and presentation of creative work to peers and clients
• Exceptional grammar and proofreading skills
• Experience writing to brand voice and style guidelines
• Portfolio/link to portfolio
