Quality Engineering Technical Lead

This role provides technical leadership within the Quality Engineering team, guiding test strategy, automation initiatives, and cross-functional quality practices. You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure high standards of quality across our mobile, cloud, and IoT platforms.You will play a key role in shaping testing strategies for connected devices, validating end-to-end user workflows, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards before reaching customers.What You’ll DoTechnical LeadershipMentor and coach QE engineers to elevate technical capability and testing best practicesServe as the technical point of contact for quality across cross-functional teamsTest Strategy & PlanningLead hands-on test planning, auditing, and executionDevelop comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features and product releasesIdentify risk areas and prioritize testing efforts based on impact and complexityDefine quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to monitor product healthAutomation & InfrastructureEvaluate and adopt tools and technologies to improve test automation, coverage, and efficiencyContribute to building and improving test frameworks and infrastructureIoT & Platform QualityDevelop testing strategies for IoT devices and associated mobile applicationsValidate end-to-end workflows across cameras, base stations, cloud services, and client applicationsTest streaming, recording, notification systems, and AI/ML-driven features such as object detection and smart alertsEnsure consistent quality across iOS, Android, and web platformsProcess & CollaborationPartner with Engineering and Product teams to define acceptance criteria and release exit criteriaDrive root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventative improvementsManage test cycles, defect triage, and release readiness sign-offsContribute to planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiativesChampion a strong culture of quality across the organizationRequirements8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software TestingProven experience leading test strategy and technical quality initiativesStrong experience with test planning, defect management, and release validationExperience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and client-server applicationsFamiliarity with automation frameworks and modern test toolsStrong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to identify root causes of complex issuesExperience working in Agile development environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teamsWill be a plus if you have:Experience with IoT devices or consumer electronicsUnderstanding of video streaming, networking, and cloud-based platformsFamiliarity with AI/ML feature validationExperience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD environmentsLeverage AI-powered testing and automation to enhance quality, accelerate delivery, and enable predictive defect detection.BenefitsCompetitive remuneration.Health insurance.
