Internship Details

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern, you will work closely with our team to drive a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation. Your primary responsibilities will include:


Performing and assisting in the timely collection, validation, and root cause analysis of data elements
Helping to create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders
Assisting in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing analytical answers to support senior leadership decision-making
Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding
Helping to develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need for data requirements
Identifying anomalies in processes through reviews/audits and communicating findings to the team
Assessing the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors
Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision
May perform other job duties as directed by the Team Lead


Responsibilities and Duties

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for:


Utilizing data to develop, present, and make recommendations for innovative ideas and projects
Performing critical analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements
Supporting organizational goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and improving compliance
Contributing to the development of a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation within the Quality Control department


Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this internship, you must:


Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
Have a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Have experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase (preferred)
Be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Be able to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple tasks
Have a keen attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
