About this role: The Quality Clerk supports the Quality Control Department by handling documentation, data entry, record-keeping, and reporting tasks that ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role is key in maintaining accuracy in quality records and providing administrative support to the quality control team.Statement of work:β€’ Maintain and organize quality documentation, records, and databases.β€’ Prepare, review, and file inspection reports, certifications, and compliance forms.β€’ Assist in internal and external audits by compiling necessary records and ensuring accessibility of documentation.β€’ Perform accurate data entry for quality-related metrics, inspection results, and corrective action logs.β€’ Generate and distribute reports, spreadsheets, and summaries for management review.β€’ Ensure compliance with company quality policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.β€’ Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.β€’ Report any known quality problems to the Quality Control Managerβ€’ Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary.β€’ Perform any other task/activity assigned by the Quality Control Manager within the scope of Company business.β€’ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Sealing Devices Quality System.What you will need to succeed:β€’ High school diploma or equivalent required.β€’ Associate degree in related field preferred.β€’ Previous use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel are required.β€’ Previous use of Oracle, Lotus Notes, or similar are preferred. β€’ High degree of organization and the ability to multi-task.β€’ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Quality Control Admin Competencies:β€’ Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.β€’ Communication - Advanced professional written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.β€’ Quality Management - Provides high quality services, processes, programs, and products while consistently seeking ways to improve outcomes and enhance service.β€’ Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.β€’ Safety Awareness - Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety.β€’ Teamwork - Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.Work Environment:Commitment of 40 hours per work.
