Quality Assurance Technical Lead
Job Summary:
We're looking for passionate and creative new person to help us shape how we test our enterprise-grade software. In this role, you will lead the QA efforts across our new product development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust test strategies, mentoring QA engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ā¢ Lead the QA strategy, planning and execution across multiple projects.
ā¢ Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and Typescript.
ā¢ Design and develop product specific test cases for both manual and automation tests
ā¢ Collaborate with product owners, developers, DevOps to define quality test plans and test approaches and to ensure test coverage and quality standards
ā¢ Oversee performance testing and API testing using JMeter.
ā¢ Test and/or validate development tasks during the sprint cycle
ā¢ Manage defect review cycle
ā¢ Manage test data and test environments as required
ā¢ Coordinate with other technical teams in identifying test coverage requirements
ā¢ Execute integration and regression testing as required
ā¢ Support the product release team as required
ā¢ Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
REQUIREMENTS
ā¢ BS or MS in Computer Science, software engineering or related discipline
ā¢ Hands-on experience with .Net development practices and languages
ā¢ Experience with Visual Studio
ā¢ Hands on experience in automation frameworks and scripting languages
ā¢ Hands-on experience with API scripting using tools like Postman and SOAPUI
ā¢ Hands-on experience using MSSQL and Oracle databases and relational databases concepts
ā¢ Experience in identifying high value test areas in software products
ā¢ Strong understanding of Agile software development test practices
ā¢ Experience in defining test plans, test cases, and execution plans
ā¢ Hands-on experience testing web, mobile, and desktop applications
ā¢ Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
ā¢ Ability to work independently and as a team member
ā¢ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
ASSETS
ā¢ Experience in functional and unit testing
ā¢ Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines
ā¢ Experience in using SAST and DAST tools for security testing and analyzing results.
ā¢ Strong understanding of client-server architecture, three-tier application architecture and SPA architecture
ā¢ Hands-on experience in validating software specifications against business requirements
ā¢ Strong understanding of software application code (C#, Angular JS, HTML 5, CSS 3, C++) with the ability to write, read, and debug it
ā¢ Experience with common network protocols
ā¢ Experience with Accessibility (WCAG) testing
ā¢ Experience testing/leveraging cloud technologies
