Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Java/Selenium

Overview We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in both API and UI test automation using Core Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in REST API automation, solid understanding of QA frameworks, and exposure to mobile automation testing using Xcode/iOS Simulator. Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for API and UI applications. • Work with development teams to understand requirements and define comprehensive test coverage. • Perform REST API testing and validation using automation frameworks and tools. • Develop test automation frameworks using Core Java, Selenium, and other relevant technologies. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. • Execute and analyze automated test results, log defects, and track resolutions. • Conduct cross-platform and iOS simulator-based testing using Xcode. • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality. Mandatory Skills • Core Java strong programming and debugging skills. • Selenium hands-on experience in UI test automation. • REST API Test Automation using tools/frameworks like RestAssured or similar. • QA Automation framework development and test execution. • Xcode / iOS Simulator basic experience in mobile test automation. • API Automation strong understanding of HTTP methods, JSON, and validation techniques. • Excellent Communication Skills verbal and written. Good to Have • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) • Exposure to TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Git. • Knowledge of Postman, SoapUI, or Charles Proxy. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies. • Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
