About the position

CBEM brings lasting, positive changes to the individuals with developmental disabilities we serve, some of whom experience mental illness. Our process begins with observations from which we design a comprehensive plan. It continues on as we teach our clients and their circle of support how to obtain positive, sustainable outcomes. • Lead high-level Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for serious incidents and manage the implementation of sustainable Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).
• Serve as the organizational lead for HIPAA compliance, partnering with IT to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI) across all platforms.
• Partner with Program Directors and HR to translate complex regulations into practical, implementable workflows for our field staff.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health, Public Health, or Healthcare Administration required
• 5+ years of leadership experience developing and implementing QA protocols within a behavioral health or IDD service environment.
• Deep fluency in Title 17, Medi-Cal, and HIPAA standards.
• Proven proficiency in utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or Root Cause Analysis (RCA) frameworks to solve systemic operational challenges.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical data into actionable insights for executive-level decision-making.

Nice-to-haves
• A Master’s degree (MHA or MBA) is highly preferred.
• Experience with Regional Center funding dynamics is a strong plus.

Benefits
• Nurturing learning environment with professional development and career advancement opportunities.
• Competitive salary with opportunities for quarterly bonuses.
• Comprehensive health coverage (Medical, Dental, and Vision) starting on day one.
• Company-provided computer and mobile device with a monthly internet stipend.
• Generous paid time off, including vacation, wellness, and sick days, to support work-life balance.
• Monthly Health & Wellness allowance to promote physical and mental well-being.
