Job description: Note: This is not an IT Quality Assurance position. This role deals more with program compliance standards and continuous qualityimprovement for assigned programs.ResponsibilitiesPathways Center Community Service Board (CSB) provides behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and addictive disease services in the west central Georgia region. Pathways Center's administrative team provides operational support and assistance company-wide, enabling direct support team members to focus on care and service delivery to each client/patient. The individual in this role is a part of the company's administrative team focused on ensuring program and service fidelity, adherence to best practices, and the delivery of high-quality services within the Pathways Center organization.Under general supervision, the person in this role interprets and applies statistical, financial, and/or operational data to support continuous quality improvements in service delivery. Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Analyst include but are not limited to the following:ā” Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned programs and servicesā” Evaluates programs for compliance with service guidelines, contracts, regulatory standards, and best practicesā” Assists in the development of quality control measures or internal audit tools to ensure adherence to program compliance standardsā” Serves as the Utilization Manager for assigned programs, monitoring and tracking trends in the treatment/service mix, identifying discrepancies between services ordered and services provided, and identifying under/over-utilized servicesā” Works with the clinical teams to identify Evidence-Based practices and integrating EBPs into service deliveryā” Conducts employee time studies; Observes/Analyzes time spent to maximize the utilization of human resources toward meeting performance indicators and service outcomesā” Manages stakeholder satisfaction and feedback programsā” Assists with stakeholder engagement effortsā” Leads client/patient record reviews; Prepares reports and recommendations for improvements in clinical documentationā” Leads continuous quality improvement efforts for assigned programsā” Partners with Program Operations Analyst to communicate program outcomes to clinical teamsā” Assists with monthly programmatic narrativesā” Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment in researching and reporting areas of inefficiency and providing suggestions for closing performance gaps, including recommendations for system efficiency and integrityā” Partners with program directors, managers, and site supervisors to effectively manage change and programmatic performance improvementā” Provides hands-on coaching and development of direct service workersā” Provides training and technical assistance to internal stakeholdersā” Leads or assists with audits, compliance reviews, and licensing/certification visitsā” Provides training and technical assistance to internal stakeholdersā” Works on a rotating basis to ensure presence in programs that operate on a 24/7 basisā” Spends approximately 80% of time onsite at local service locations and 20% of time in the officeā” Attends ongoing training and professional development activitiesā” Participates in focus groups and user groups related to ones area of assignmentā” Adheres to Pathways Centerās G.R.E.A.T. customer service expectationsMinimum QualificationsBachelorās degree in a human service or related field AND five years of experience performing work in a related field; OR eight years in a related area of assignmentBachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience performing work related to the area of assignment, which includes two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Healthcare Prgm Consultant 3 (HCP092) or position equivalent.
