Qualified amp Experienced ESL Instructor IMPORTANT Complete Indeedcom PHONE INTERVIEW ASSESSMENT or your application will NOT be reviewed- Must be familiar with Microsoft 365 Teams and online teachingPosition OverviewWe are currently hiring ESL instructors to teach international students in an ACCET-accredited Intensive English Program under a SEVP certification The majority of our students enter the US with a school I-20 form to studyDescriptionInstructors will prepare a lesson plan and facilitate courses using a curriculum developed by our school that allows time and room to prepare for the tailored instruction for the average class sizes of 15 adult international students from all over the worldClass Schedule Monday - ThursdayThe Morning class starts at 900 AM and ends at 1215 or 130 PMThe evening class starts at 500 PM and ends... at 0815 or 930 PMInstructor Job Responsibilities Instruct assigned ESL classes using Active Learning strategies Prepare daily lesson plans and keep accurate current complete records and be in compliance according to school policies and procedures Follow the syllabus and objectives for each course assigned Assess and document student progress and provide grade reports Maintain confidentiality of student records and personal information at all times Assist in enforcing school rules administrative regulations and policies Attend staff meetings professional development activities award ceremonies etc Maintain cooperative and positive relationships and open communication with all administrators staff and studentsRequired Qualifications and Skills A bachelors degree with a minimum of three months of full-time equivalent ESL or foreign language classroom teaching experience Or a bachelors degree along with a certificate in teaching ESL Near-native in English Sensitive to cultural differences Strong interpersonal skills Professional enthusiastic and patient High level of interest in teaching foreign students Able to demonstrate creative and communicative teaching methods Tutoring experience does not count Online Classroom management under the PCMac environmentPreferred Qualifications and Skills Over 2 years of teaching experience in ESL EFL Linguistics English or other related fields TESOLTEFL certificate that includes a teaching practicum componentJob Types Part-time ContractPay 2200 - 2700 per hourBenefits Professional development assistanceSchedule Day shiftCOVID-19 considerationsVaccination is required and common surfaces are sanitized regularly You must submit the COVID-19 Vaccine Exemption Form to be exempt when you apply for the jobEducation Bachelors RequiredShift availability Day Shift RequiredWork Location Remote Check More Online Tutoring Jobs Apply tot his job
