Position: QHP Coding Auditor (REMOTE) QHP Coding Auditor (REMOTE) QHP Coding Auditor (REMOTE) Our client is seeking a highly skilled QHP Coding Auditor to perform initial chart reviews and ensure the highest standards of coding accuracy in a remote setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-directed, and adept at maintaining precision under minimal supervision. Success in this role requires a balance of analytical rigor, strong communication, and disciplined organization to uphold compliance across multiple coding models. This role is fully remote. Applicants must be able to work EST hours. QHP Coding Auditor Responsibilities • Conduct initial chart reviews and coding quality audits to validate ICD-10-CM code accuracy. • Abstract and audit codes for QHP (RADV) projects, ensuring documentation fully supports coding decisions. • Apply state, federal, and CMS documentation requirements consistently across all assignments. • Maintain a minimum 95% accuracy rate on all coding projects. • Utilize ICD-10-CM guidelines, AHA Coding Clinic guidance, and official coding standards in daily work. QHP Coding Auditor Qualifications • Active AHIMA or AAPC certification (e.g., RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CIC); CRC strongly preferred. • Minimum 7 years of coding experience, including 5+ years in Risk Adjustment (RADV experience required). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and coding software or encoders. • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills; capable of working independently. • Must have a secure, private workspace compliant with PHI confidentiality standards.
