QC Lead
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the manual testing efforts for multiple projects across the organization. Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams including development, business analysts, and product managers. Ensure all testing activities are carried out as per the defined quality process. Track and manage defects, ensuring their resolution before release. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members. Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant QA metrics to stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and standards. RequirementsRequired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in manual software testing with at least 2 years in a lead role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Expertise in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or similar platforms. Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus. Experience in testing APIs, databases, and mobile applications is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
