QA Manager/ Engineering Primary Skills • QA, Automation, People Management, Customer Experience, Quality Management, Teamwork & Leadership Job requirements Role: QA Manager/ Engineering Years of Experience: 10+ years Location: Remote As a consultant within the Vertical team, you will work with our clients to define their digital strategy and execution roadmap, and design and implement differentiated digital solutions to help deliver measurable value. Job Description: • About the Role • We are looking for an experienced Onsite Coordinator with strong Quality Engineering expertise to act as the bridge between our client and offshore delivery teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical understanding of quality practices, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders while guiding and mentoring offshore QA teams. • Key Responsibilities: • Client Engagement & Relationship Management: • Act as the primary onsite point of contact for the customer on all Quality Engineering activities. • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with client stakeholders, product owners, and delivery managers. • Understand business priorities, project timelines, and proactively manage expectations. • Provide regular updates on project health, risks, and mitigation plans. • Team Leadership & Coordination: • Coordinate daily with the offshore team to ensure smooth communication, workload distribution, and timely delivery. • Conduct daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives bridging the client and offshore QA teams. • Mentor and guide offshore QA engineers on process adherence, automation practices, and defect management. • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. • Quality Engineering Expertise: • Drive end-to-end quality strategy across manual, automation, and performance testing streams. • Review test strategy, automation frameworks, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project goals. • Leverage modern QA tools and methodologies (CI/CD, API automation, BDD, etc.) to enhance test efficiency. • Ensure all quality metrics, dashboards, and reports are accurate and reflect true delivery status. • Operational Excellence: • Identify process gaps and propose improvements in test planning, automation, and defect prevention. • Support estimation, resource planning, and onboarding for new QA initiatives. • Partner with engineering and product teams to drive early quality practices (Shift Left). • Required Skills & Qualifications: • 8–12 years of experience in Quality Engineering / QA Delivery, including 2+ years in a client-facing onsite role. • Strong background in automation testing (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools). • Hands-on experience in API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud testing environments. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to manage and mentor distributed teams. • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, working closely with product and development teams. • Preferred Qualifications: • Exposure to DevOps / QE transformation initiatives. • Prior experience with Brillio’s or similar delivery models (onsite–offshore). • Certifications such as ISTQB, CSM, or AWS QA-related credentials are a plus. • Personal Attributes: • Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action. • Empathetic communicator who can balance client needs with delivery realities. • Natural mentor who enjoys helping teams grow and succeed. • Detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable in dynamic, fast-paced client environments.
