You will manage a team of QA engineers and drive the evolution of our test automation framework, which is built on Playwright and TypeScript using the Page Object Model (POM) pattern. Automation team, providing technical guidance and trainingExpand test coverage across functional, integration, API, and end-to-end testingEvolve and maintain our existing Playwright + TypeScript test automation framework (using Page Object Model pattern), applying the latest techniques and best practicesCollaborate with Product Managers, Development teams, and DevOps to understand feature requirements, define test strategies, and ensure Test Automation best practices and code qualityFormulate efficient and deterministic test scenarios and create comprehensive test strategy plansMaintain and create new automated regression test suitesDesign and create stable and fast CI pipelines that verify code healthiness and apply CI/CD best practicesTrack and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated mannerIdentify, categorize, and report bugs and errors to development teams with insightful information (screenshots, error messages, stack traces, etc.)Support and implement the deployment process of test environments and be able to debug themUse AI-powered testing tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate test development, Assurance / Software Testing engineer, with 1+ years in a leadership or management roleStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development practicesExtensive hands-on experience with Playwright test automation framework and Page Object Model (POM) design patternExperience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or similar)Excellent analytical thinking to produce and document test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test strategy plansExperience in multiple types of testing (UI/UX web applications, mobile apps, responsive UI/cross browser, API, performance, load balancing, etc.)Proven experience managing and mentoring QA engineersExcellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skillsClose attention to detail and a product-oriented mindsetExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical conceptsTeam player with the ability to get things done in a non-hierarchical flat organizationExcellent
