QA Automation Engineer (Remote - Pacific Hours)
QA Automation Engineer Our client is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their growing technology team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software products. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and enhance automated test systems that ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications. You'll collaborate closely with developers and QA professionals to improve test coverage, strengthen automation frameworks, and help drive continuous improvement across the SDLC. Location: Fully Remote (PST Hours) Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $70k - $80k No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role What You'll Do: • Design, build, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks and test suites to validate browser-based applications. • Write clean, efficient automation scripts in Java or Python aligned with established design patterns. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation suites and ensure regression coverage for new releases. • Collaborate with QA and development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and enhance software quality. • Research and implement emerging tools and best practices to improve test automation efficiency and reliability. What Gets You the Job: • Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, or IntelliJ. • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, regression testing, and Agile/Scrum practices. • Ability to use cloud-based testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack) for cross-platform and cross-browser validation. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills within technical teams. • A proactive approach to continuous learning and improving QA automation processes.
