About the position
Responsibilities
• Providing general administrative support, including monitoring media outlets and distributing news clips.
• Coordinating logistics for meetings, including calendar schedules and preparing meeting materials.
• Organizing detailed author tour and media schedules for campaigns.
• Tracking review coverage and coordinating review copy mailings.
• Drafting publicity materials, including galley letters, press releases, and pitches.
Requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Awareness of trends in popular media.
• Adept at social media platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage tasks in a high volume and fast-paced environment.
• A genuine interest in publishing and working in book publicity.
