The Adams County Library System has the following position opportunity:
Part-Time Public Services Assistant at Trone Memorial Library in East Berlin:
Part-time, day and evening hours. 20 hours weekly. $13.50 per hour.
PT Public Services Assistant is a front-line customer service position. Ability to learn and assist customers in traditional library service as well as modern technology-based library service is essential. Sound independent judgment is required.
Mondays - 10 am to 6 pm
Tuesdays ? 12 pm to 4 pm
Wednesdays ? 2 pm to 6 pm
Thursdays - 12 pm to 4 pm
The successful candidate must have computer/technology skills to adequately utilize library software, Microsoft Office applications and electronic information sources. For the complete job description please go to: www.adamslibrary.org/about/employment.
Physical requirements: Position requires ability to carry/lift bags of library materials up to 40 pounds and manipulate loaded book carts weighing up to 300 pounds over carpeted floors.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required. Library experience preferred. Bilingual/Spanish preferred.
Applicant must be able to obtain Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check and an FBI Criminal Background Check.
