Psychologist - Remote Position
Job Summary
My client in AZ is seeking a remote Psychologist with licensure in Arizona or a Compact License. Must be a PsyD. Must be familiar with Tele Health Technology and be open to working during the day but work within multiple time zones to meet client needs.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine psychological needs.
ā¢ Provide individual and group counseling services, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychotherapy.
ā¢ Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, including those with PTSD, autism, or addiction issues.
ā¢ Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns in clinical settings, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
ā¢ Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to patients in distress.
ā¢ Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
ā¢ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
ā¢ Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving therapeutic approaches and outcomes within the field of psychology.
ā¢ Provide support in both inpatient and outpatient settings while addressing the needs of various populations, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
Qualifications
ā¢ Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
ā¢ Active Arizona or Compact License to practice as a psychologist.
ā¢ Proven experience in child and family counseling with a focus on working with children and individuals with disabilities.
ā¢ Strong background in crisis intervention techniques and hospital experience is preferred.
ā¢ Familiarity with psychological testing methods and behavioral health practices.
ā¢ Demonstrated ability to conduct intake assessments effectively while maintaining compassionate patient care.
ā¢ Experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable, along with knowledge of group therapy dynamics.
