Psychiatrist- Fully Remote (Part Time)
Job Title: Psychiatrist- (Remote)- Part Time
Position Type: Full Time
Onsite Flexibility: Fully Remote
Pay Range: $135.00/hr- $140.00/hr
Provide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, psychiatric diagnosis and prescribing, mental health counseling and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) Prevention and safer sex practices.
Serving as a clinical expert and resource for clinical quality initiatives.
Program development and process improvement insight as a key expert in both roles providing acute care and behavioral health services.
Quality and Training background to support onboarding of new providers and quality oversight of behavioral health care.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Patient-Centered Quality and Safety
Provide patient counseling; inclusive of pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling and medication management
Educate patients on health maintenance and respond to patient care inquiries
Provide care and coordination of our patients with internal and external colleagues, including the broader patient centered medical home, ensuring the highest standard of care is provided for all patients and at all times
Effectively work within a patient care team, including Providers, Collaborative Physicians, para-professionals, Pharmacists and other members of the Behavioral Health care team
Completion of
Doctorate of Medicine degree in Psychiatry with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice
Doctorate of Medicine degree in Family Practice with experience in behavioral health also acceptable.
Appx 4 hours per week, flexible, day shift, weekend/holiday availability NOT required
