About the Role As a Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative at blithequark, you will be the advocate for healthcare providers, addressing their queries and concerns through multiple channels, including phone calls and concurrent chats. Your expertise will span a range of critical areas such as benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare providers, resolving their issues with accountability and ownership. Manage a multi-channel environment, handling both calls and chats with professionalism and poise. Triage contacts from healthcare professionals efficiently, understanding their needs, and providing timely resolutions. Research complex issues related to prior authorizations and claims, taking appropriate steps to resolve them and prevent future occurrences. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and communicated effectively to providers. Multitask with ease, navigating over 30 systems to extract necessary information for issue resolution. Influence providers to adopt self-service digital tools, aiding in faster resolution and enhanced user experience. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a proven track record of analyzing and solving customer concerns. Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new and complex systems. Typing speed of 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%. Must be 18 years or older. Flexibility to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week), with potential for occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the healthcare sector and familiarity with healthcare terminology. Experience in a related environment (office, call center, customer service) using phones and computers as primary tools. Telecommuting Requirements Reside within the Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zone. Ability to maintain the security of company-sensitive documents. A dedicated workspace that is separate from living areas and ensures information privacy. Access to a high-speed internet connection that meets blithequark's standards. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits For residents of New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Colorado, or Washington D.C., the hourly range for this position is $16.54 - $32.55. Compensation is based on factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.
