Prospect Research Coordinator
The Advancement Research department collects and stores important publicly accessible data for ongoing use by our Advancement Staff and Fundraisers, and other key campus individuals. You can help us research new data for entry into our system of record (CRM Advance) and provide necessary updates to existing data. This role involves re-formatting data for presentation to fundraisers or Advancement staff primarily in Excel sheets or Google Docs. Our work provides the means to determine if projects can be funded financially, and provides the basic information to create connections to push funding goals to completion.
This position requires a natural sense of curiosity, a willingness to learn complex processes, and a dedication to accuracy and consistency. Previous experience with Microsoft Excel is preferred, but training can be provided. You will need to maintain updated data through task requests and one-off project lists on all Prospect records in CRM Advance, provide verification of certain types of external capacity data for ultimate prospect prioritization, and re-formatting data for presentation to fundraisers or Advancement staff primarily in Excel sheets or Google Docs.
