Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Claims Trainer to join our team. As a Property Claims Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering education and training to our property claims handling team, both in classroom settings and virtually. You will develop presentations, online content, and conduct web conferences to ensure that our claims handling team has the technical skills and product knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to our members. This is a remote-based position that requires travel nationwide for up to 2-6 weeks at a time, as well as occasional evenings and weekends for training. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver high-quality education and training programs for property claims handling, including classroom instruction and virtual training sessions Create presentations, online content, and other training materials using adult learning methods Conduct web conferences and facilitate classroom training sessions Provide one-on-one coaching and tutoring to claims handling team members Update management on progress of classes and training programs Manage travel and complete expense reports on time Respond to emails and other forms of communication promptly Submit rosters on time and accurately Essential Qualifications Experience handling property claims, preferably in an insurance or automotive setting Creativity and innovation in enhancing classroom education and presentation materials Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate classes and lead discussions for both small and large groups Ability to assimilate new information quickly and demonstrate initiative to enhance knowledge and skill levels Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects Intermediate PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word skills, with basic Excel and Access skills Bachelor's degree preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with adult learning methods and instructional design Certification in property claims handling or a related field Experience with virtual training tools and platforms Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and projects Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits We are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
