They are seeking a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster who will provide exceptional service by virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. Responsibilities Provide exceptional service to our policyholders Virtually inspecting damages Investigating coverage Preparing estimates Settling claims promptly and accurately Interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms Using phone, emails and sometimes even video chat with customers to help them through a fast, fair, and easy claims process Evaluate and negotiate claims settlements with customers, vendors, third party carriers and claimants Utilize multiple tools to get the job done in a fast-paced environment Executing policies along policy agreements Keeping a clear record of your work in a claims system Skills 1+ years of previous customer service experience required Previous industry experience is highly desired Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions Residency near Long Island City or Uniondale, NY is mandatory for this role Benefits Time off Healthcare Retirement Competitive pay with needed support for continuous development and career advancement.
