Proofreader Specialist, Packaging
About the position Responsibilities • Ensure proper style, grammar, word choice, correct spelling, and punctuation in product packaging. • Identify design discrepancies across all executions of GNC product packaging. • Support identified tasks within the overall packaging development process. • Assist with end-to-end packaging tasks, reviews, and management of project tasks through final approval. • Work closely with the packaging team and support identified tasks in accordance with procedures and standards. • Organize and assist the art review process while maintaining project timelines. • Communicate and review necessary corrections with the project team. • Maintain and organize files relevant to individual projects. • Meet goals and objectives as defined in each packaging project including redesign and lifecycle maintenance. • Manage cross-functional label reviews and partner with key stakeholders to gather and report corrections. • Ensure timely and accurate development of label files and confirm requested revisions have been made. • Conduct regular review and auditing of GNC packaged products to ensure standards are upheld. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism/English-centered or related field, or equivalent experience. • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with project management experience preferred. • Excellent spelling, grammar, proofreading, and communication skills. • Proficiency in production proofing for content errors and design consistency. • Expert proficiency in office technology and software, including Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to juggle several projects and meet tight deadlines. Nice-to-haves • Experience in Workfront or equivalent Project Management/Trafficking Tool preferred. • Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
