Proofreader / Editor for SEO Content (Ongoing, Pay-Per-Piece)
We’re an SEO agency that produces blogs and on-page content for clients in a range of industries. We need a reliable proofreader and editor to make sure everything we deliver is polished, accurate and makes sense for the client it’s written for. This is a pay-per-piece freelance role, typically requiring 10-40 pieces per month. We need someone who can check content for tone, flow, punctuation and grammar, but also apply common sense and judgement. If something feels off, generic or unsuitable, you’ll fix it.Light editing to improve the piece is encouraged. Our writers use AI tools to plan and optimise content, but all writing is done by humans. You’ll need to bolthires and remove AI-like habits such as filler phrases, repeated sentence patterns, emdashes and semi colons. You should have experience editing marketing or SEO content, a good eye for tone and clarity, and be comfortable working in bolthires Docs. Reliability and attention to detail matter more than speed, though quick turnaround is always a plus.
