Description Company Description CRISP Shared Services (CSS) serves as the technology partner for health information exchange (HIE) partners in Maryland, DC, West Virginia, Connecticut, Alaska, Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, and other jurisdictions. CSS facilitates the electronic transfer of clinical information between disparate information systems in order to positively impact the healthcare system through improved patient care and outcomes, reduced costs, and data-driven understanding of regional public health concerns. Job Summary The Projects and Outreach Intern is responsible for supporting the HIE projects and Maryland outreach teams with day to day operations. They will be responsible for general project management support, including Salesforce clean up and record keeping. Additionally, they will have the unique opportunity to provide targeted outreach to healthcare providers across all of CRISP. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Support the Provider Relations Team by troubleshooting user issues and conducting targeted outreach Learn and become proficient in the reconciliation of errors and maintenance of information in Salesforce Assist in creating written content for various communication channels (social media posts, web site pages, newsletters, one -pagers, etc.) Support various project managers on existing projects as identified, examples include referral directory and non-cds medications Assist in creating/maintaining standard operating procedure documentation Experience and/or Education Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Science, Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or related field Interested in program or project management Strong written and verbal communication skills Summary Compensation Targeted base salary: $20-$25 an hour based on year in school Website: www.crispsharedservices.org Location: Columbia, MD - Hybrid, requires on-site 1-2x a week CRISP Shared Services, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
