Project Structural Engineer

Your Impact:
Ā• Collaborate and Coordinate: Participate in meetings with various disciplines, clients, and owners to ensure seamless project execution.
Ā• Design Excellence: Coordinate the design and documentation to complete construction documents on schedule and within budget.
Ā• Technical Mastery: Author and maintain structural specifications, select construction procedures, determine materials and member sizes, and perform necessary calculations.
Ā• Support and Review: Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change proposals, and incorporate changes into project documents.
Ā• Effective Communication: Utilize your written and verbal skills to relay design and coordination items to team members and author engineering reports, memos, and emails.
Ā• On-Site Expertise: Provide site observations during construction and author reports based on your findings.

What You'll Need:
Ā• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in structural engineering, focusing on buildings using steel, concrete, and/or masonry.
Ā• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or Architectural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus.
Ā• Licensing: Professional Engineering (P.E.) or Structural Engineering license.
Ā• Technical Skills: Proficiency in foundation design, Revit Structure 2019 or newer, and complex analysis software like Risa Floor, Risa 3D, Etabs.
Ā• Design Proficiency: Expertise in steel, concrete, and masonry design, including connections and scheduling.
Ā• Code Knowledge: Strong understanding of the International Building Code (IBC) and relevant reference codes.
Ā• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ā• Software Skills: Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Bluebeam Studio Sessions, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
